Hi,
I am thinking to DIY a 7x17 camera, but I could find the dimension
information of 7x17 film holders, what are the length*width*depth of a
7x17 film holder? and what is the "distance" between the film plane and
holder surface?

Thanks!

Wenbiao

Hi, you get it all from Lotus View Cameras, based in Austria. Their
contact website is office.TakeThisOut@lotusviewcamera.at, contact them and give them
my regards - George Nyman
PS: They can make you a 7x17 camera according to your liking and
preferences...it is a very wonderful piece of equipment, I tell you!

Thanks Georg,
I found one link that has dimension information of some large format
holders:

http://www.canhamcameras.com/Film%20Holder%20Specs.html

any one knows the 7x17 film size, including thickness?

Thanks,
Wenbiao

Webiao,
I would suggest you to take a look at the Lotus View cameras, they are
really worth considering - in my humble opinion much better than
Canham...here their website: http://www.lotusviewcamera.at

Thanks George,
I am interested in the DIY part, in other words, woodworking. Not
really into buying any of the cameras. Smile
