We have a couple of them at home, but if there's some digital
photography tome out there that is deemed useful by actual
PHOTOGRAPHERS that we don't yet have, I'd like to get one.
Thanks,all!

Where I went to school, the "Introduction to Digital Photography" text was:

Real World Digital Photography, 2nd Edition
- Katrin Eismann, Seán Duggan, and Tim Grey
(c)2004 ISBN 0-321-22372-1

Companion web site: http://www.digitalphotobook.net/

Covers the range from camera phones to Phase 1 backs (MF & LF capture).
