| hi_ i came across some odd photo images. They are transparent color
"negatives", with the colors not reversed. Unfortunately, they are not
on a loop, they are cut into single images. They all say Kodak afety
film and have the same 6 digit # on them. IF cut, and Can something
like this be developed? thanks for all replies

Sounds like slide film to me ("with the colors not reversed").

I'm confused. You say they're cut into single images, I'm assuming you mean
frames, which is normal for slides. Then you ask if cut, can they be
developed. If you see the images, they're developed.
What is it that you want to do with the pictures, Late? Slides are usually
projected. Do you want to mount them and show them to friends and neighbors
with a slide projector? They can be printed, if you like, or scanned. Or
just tossed. What's your goal, here?

If they are black and white transparancies (I'm guessing that they are
from how you describe them - black and white slides, so to speak), then
you may be able to find someone who can scan them - which gives you
a set of digital files which you can work on and print at your leisure.
Where abouts are you, it may be something I can help with ?
Cheers

To the non-photog, it just looks like an odd-looking negative and so
doesn't look "developed" (when what they realy mean is _printed_).
It would be easy to take them down to your local photolab and get them
scanned and printed, or written to a CD.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: kodak safety film |

hi, and thanks for your replies. I am in New Bedford, MA> these are
color transparencies hand cut into 2' x 2" frames. I just wasnt sure
if they were cut from film loops or simply developed slides. I want to
print them! "They might be valuable, and are, I think, a rare find. >> Stay informed about: kodak safety film |
