I hope I explain this well enough to get some assistance. Does anyone know
how to create that frame in Photoshop that looks like you're looking at a
film negative? Not that the image itself appears like a negative but the
frame of the image looks like the film reel. Does that make sense? I know it
can't be difficult...it's used alot and I usually don't want to do what
everyone else does but I like that look. Thanks for any guidance on how to
make these frames.

Sean

ou can buy CD's full of effects like that. perhaps you can download one.

or you could scan a strip of 35mm film and clean it up, drop in your own
images in the appropriate spots.

I have a file in PhotoShop PSD format that I created for a similar project.
I have put it up temporarily on <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.ekuk.fsnet.co.uk/filmstrip6.psd" target="_blank">www.ekuk.fsnet.co.uk/filmstrip6.psd</a>
Feel free to take a copy if it is of use. The file has two layers. The
top layer is the black film strip rebate, with apertures transparent. The
background is plain white. I have scanned the file with up to date
Norton's Antivirus.

I find this interesting. What is it that you like about this style?

The books One Click Wow have what you are looking for, the book comes with a
disc, any large bookstore would have it, I borrowed the book which came with
the disc from my local Library, they had to bring it in from another Library
I then installed it, every thing you are looking for & more !!!
