I understand that commercial statements are not to be made on this
newsgroup, and I have delayed and delayed - but I cannot find another
way to get information out to a group of people whom it will help. I
will say the following in the least commercial way so as not to irritate.

Apparently the controller of the Zone VI enlarger causes a lot of
aggravation to users.

We and the people at Heiland worked quite hard to create a version of
the Splitgrade to replace this controller. Those who have used it are
very very pleased. It was to be promoted through Calumet but they
dropped the ball, and seem to be uninterested in darkroom anymore.

Thanks,
John Bicht

Are you talking about the old 5x7 variable contrast system, the new 4x5
LED variable contrast system, or something else entirely?

This suits the old twin tube enlarger both 5x7 and 8x10.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
