Sorry I pushed the send button before I got to write this:

I always look for places that are in the order of "Best Quality",
"Best Service","Best Reliability",Best Honesty" and never one that has
"lowest", "cheapest" or "bargain" in it.
Every time I place an order I get a fair price, exactly what I order
is what I receive and delivery on time.

I am glad I did not make the order.
Bestpricecameras.com can kiss my Canon.
I called up a second time and tried to go to customer service
and the same prick picked up and transferred me to a recording.
can you imagine how bad they will be once they get the sale?

Now my time is up and work is calling. Has to wait until tonight to find
someone good.

By they way, here are a few reputable places that I've used numerous times
with no problems - www.bhphotovideo.com, www.adorama.com,
www.canogacamera.com. Yes of course you're going to pay more than the
lowball places, but you'll get exactly what you order with no runaround, and
no pressure to pay for obscenely marked-up accessories (which many times are
supposed to be included).

lol it does look that way but when you think about it.. scumbags are good
its just bad
that they need to be put on.
so I would say they are cheap scumbags that rip easily and really screw you
up.
I am glad I did not order with them. but it does seem that all stores with
a reasonable price are
out of stock. Amazon had it for $1600 body only.
I wonder how long it will take someplace like B&H or Adorama to get it if I
order from them.

Anyone who expects to buy a $1300 camera for $500 less than the price
sold at other camera stores has got to be stupid and deserve what they

The odd thing is that the retailers with good customer service seem to be
selling a lot of merchandise and making a lot of money. And they don't have to
spend most of their advertising budgets on attracting customers who have never
done business with them before. Could it be that they're on to something that
the overtly greedy companies aren't smart enough to figure out?

There are LOTS of places with EXCELLENT customer service. B&H, Calumet,
Roberts Imaging, and Norman Camera are the first ones to come to my mind.
If you put up with bad customer service, it is by your own choice (or greed)
that you got there in the first place. I tend to take notice of HOW I am
dealt with by manufacturers and retailers and feel that many have EARNED my
business, so I continue to buy from them. Excellent manufacturers whose
products I'll continue to buy include Toyota, Honda, and Nikon...I have had
so little problems from these, that I really can't figure out a reason to
buy something else. One problem is that a lot of young consumers really
don't know (or, perhaps, don't care) which brands are well-established
companies with good track records and which are merely the "creation du
jour" of some "marketing machine" and a lot of the "thanks" for that goes to
advertising agencies and a lack of diligence on the part of the consumer.
