For those thinking that all of 'Rita's stuff is awful, try this one.
It's a pretty good image. The highlights are under control, the bokeh
isn't distracting, the subject is interesting... In fact the only
thing I can criticise is the crop - a little more tail room at the
top, and a little less of the duistracting snow(?) would have made it
a winner, instead of a prize getter.
Oh, ok, there are a couple of other things:
- it may be that the dof is *just* short of his eye, but you can't
really tell at that size, and it's a nitpick.
- is it my imagination, or is there a greenish cast..?
Despite those, if this is an example of the bad images you say you
deliberately post, Rita, then there is clearly hope. Nice work. >> Stay informed about: Taking The D3 To The Tanning Salon!! |

But I still fail to see why only a D3 with Nikon lens could achieve the same
result?
Why are some people more concerned with their camera brand than with their
photographic skills I wonder. Just using the quality of the first to cover
their lacking in the second it seems.

Rita seems obsessed with asses: dog asses, squirrel asses... there's
something very sick going on here... >> Stay informed about: Taking The D3 To The Tanning Salon!! |

1000mm hand-held. Using ISO 4500. I don't think any other DSLR could
keep noise under control as well at that ISO, and it's the high ISO which
has allowed the shot.

Very nice picture. It shows you can keep the DOF undercontrol even at most
difficult circumstances; from tail to nose it's sharp. Most others would get
one or the other.
Great job!

I assume you know this person, and therefore are defining from your own
animal behavior based upon a personal response- otherwise please support
your conclusion with external links. Then again it could be that your
need for attention outweighs intelligent analysis.
So which is it?
