Could somebody kindly enlighten me on how to swing the front of this camera?
The manual says just unlock the front standard lever, but that does not free
the front to swing. Thank you, and kindly reply to petelush.RemoveThis@att.net

On mine, I put the locking lever in the "unlocked" center position and
grasp the bottom of both standards, pulling either right or left. The
front swings with a bit of friction. Pull the locking lever to the
right or the left to lock down. (the standard can still be moved, but
with greater friction.

Thanks a lot. I should have admitted this is my first experience with view
camera movements. The manual showed me what a "standard" is, and your
advice worked. I am trying to increase the amount of subject in focus, as
per several books I have. I use a polaroid back for proofing and am having
much fun.
