I just bought a DSC-H10 before Christmas and I thought I would share
some of the good and the bad about it...
GOOD
-10x optical zoom with an additional 10x digital on some settings
-8.1 mega pixals (OK that can go either way it depends on what you are
using it for, and I hate watching sales people cramming a high end
camera on a person when all they want is to shoot 6x9's of the family)
-The ISO setting I've seen as high as (3200)
- rapid fire shooting. In the sports settings you can set it for a
three shot burst with either a .3 sec or a .7 sec interval. note you
need a fair bit of light to have that work nicely
-the removable lens shroud
- the processor speed is.... well.... it blows the doors of the Fuji I
was using before... press button... wait .... wait.... wait... click.
- the price wasn't too bad
BAD
-The use of only a Litho battery (NP-BG1). It's not like you can run
to the store and grab some AA's. The price for a Sony batt. is around
80 CDN (I found cheaper ones on eBay) I bought a generic back-up for
around 50 CDN.
-The lack of a view finder. The LCD screen does us a lot of power.
There is most likely lost more to add but I haven't played with it
much... yet LOL
