After years of using Kodak and occasional other processors, I tried Snapfish
for APS. Turnaround time was good, price was OK, the posting of the whole
roll the day they got it on the web was excellent,
BUT-----

NO DATA ON THE BACK OF THE PRINTS. NOT A PRINT NUMBER, NOT A DATE, NO IX
INFORMATION.

THEY USED THE INFORMATION BECAUSE THE PRINTS WERE THE APPROPRIATE FORMATS
(4X6, 4X7 AND P) BUT NOTHING ON THE BACK. THE INDEX PRINT HAD THE START AND
STOP DATES, SO THEY DID READ THE THING, JUST DIDN'T PRINT IT.

Is this their usual practice?

I use Snapfish routinely for APS and 135 film. I always get back
printing on APS. The one time I got a bad set of prints they reprinted them
for me. I suggest asking for another set of prints with the proper
backprinting.

I should forward you the letter I got from Snapfish telling them of the
problem. They said that backprinting was something they did not do and would
possibly look into adding in the future!!

Amazing! They clearly have some communication problems. My most recent
APS rolls from Snapfish were processed in July and August. The backprinting
includes date, time, roll ID, frame number, and some other stuff I don't
know how to interpret.
