Are skin tones yellow in the viewfinder like they are on the resulting

hah! that could very well be and that's why the viewfinder is sold at
a premium price. maybe they even use some of the radioactive thorium
glass that pentax used to use that turns yellow with age. Smile

except the dp1 doesn't have a zoom lens. this is just a simple
viewfinder attachment. in fact, there are entire cameras with optical
viewfinders that cost less than the add-on one for the dp1.

Quite. They need to recoup costs somehow.
