When in Pinellas county, check out some of my normal haunts. Listed in order
of possible importance.
Fort Desoto, North Beach wading birds, Reddish Egrets, Spoonbills, lots of
shorebirds (may have to wade a little). East Beach for Warblers at this time
of year. The fishing piers (two) for Pelican photos and flying tern and gull
photos. The East Turnaround for more shorebirds. Fort Desoto is a very large
area.
The CAUSEWAY to Honeymoon Island, early morning (Dunedin). Reddish Egrets
are common here. Although not the white phase, Boo Hiss. Plus lots of
shorebirds on the causeway.

Freedom Lake Park. Almost always, Limpkins and Wood Storks.

The great thing about these places is that the birds are used to people
being around, so it is easier to get good images.
