I have added the SB-800 to my wishlist. The preflash used by the i-TTL
system is *very* annoying and the SB-800 has the A-mode in addition to M
and TTL (which are the only options on the SB-600). The built-in slave in
the 800 is also more versatile, it may also be used as a normal slave. The
600 may only serve as a slave with i-TTL. The two flashes are also nearly
identical in size, the 600 is a little bit smaller than the 800.
