Most probably won't cover 6X7, except maybe some of the longer ones. Seems
like I have seen the f2.8 180mm Sonars adapted to 6X7 which would be well
worth finding!

The 45mm might be adaptable, since Hartblei makes a shift version that can
comfortably shift 8mm before any vignetting on 6x6, and 67 is only 5mm wider
'on each side'.

Whether you would want to use that lens, far from the best of the former
Soviet offerings, is another question - though the Hartblei modified ones,
with multi-coating and, it seems, better alignment and centring, are a lot
better than the factory product.

Yep and the 55mm shift would be a good canidate as well, but given pentax
already has lenses like these, I don't think it would be worth the expence.
Now the 180mm sonar WOULD be worth adapting!

Stacey,

CVheck out Pentax's version of the Sonnar. They have a 165mm F2.8. I have seen
and handle the Sonnar 180mmF2.8 modified for the Pentax. The Sonnar is always a
sweet lens.
