Good evening.

I recently aquired Rolleiflex 3.5 (SN #1294x).

Now my question is whether a filter made for a Rolleichord will fit.

Thank you very much.
Jan

My Rolleicord Va (3.5) takes Bayonet I, yours could take either bay I or bay II.
However, anyone here would have to know the exact model, which might
be on top side of that upper front name plate, seemingly as a part of the numbering
up there... but, bayonet is bayonet, and in different sizes.

You need or use Bayonet 1. Lots on Ebay. There are also adapters to
use other sizes of filters. Try the Camera People in Bayfield CO. They
do phone calls and email etc.

I hate to contradict you, but if his serial-# is _really_ between 12940
and 12949 (and not between 1294000 and 1294999), his Rollei was made
from 1928 to 1932 and has no filter bayonet.

I doubt this (these old cameras are collectors items...). If the serial
number is 1294xxx (>1.000.000) his camera is a Automat with a f3.5 Tessar
(or Xenar) with Bay. I, the same as the 'cord.
