Hello!
I have got a problem...
The lab gave me back five rolls, but the Film Status Indicator is not
set correctly, so I would like to know how is it possible to correct
it.

Thanks
Emilio

Yeah I had that happen on two rolls at the same time...not sure if the
cans were bum cans or operator error. Neither would advance the film
in my Scan Elite II so I just took them to WalMart and they put the
film into a new generic can. (I had them processed at Ritz....Yuck)

Well, the nearest WalMart is on the other size of the Atlantic Pond,
so I had to improvise...

If you use a SMALL screwdriver to turn the lock on the film exit port,
then by turning the roll axis the Film Status Indicator can be set
correctly (or at least I hope so, tomorrow I will try it in the
CoolScan...)

I'm not sure if I have understood what I have written...

I'll let you know if that worked...<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I could see how that would be a problem.

Good luck! I tried that with the cans I had trouble with and it was a
no go. A local film lab by you should have spare cannisters if it does
not work out for you.

Seems to be a-workin', probably, by opening the shutter in the film
port it unlocks the rest of the roll, allowing to change the setting
of the Film Status Indicator...<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
