....supposedly it should work with either (at least in aperture priority and
manual exposure) without a problem. Why not take the camera and lens either to
the camera shop you got it from (or another one you have agood relationship
with) and ask them if you could try their CZ 50/1.4 AE lens on your camera (if
they have one). If there's still the same problem with the other lens, chances
are the camera needs repairing. If it works fine with their lens then chances
are the problem is with your lens. In either case if you have a still valid
warrantee card/receipt? bring it with you before you send off either the camera
or the lens to see if you can get it repaired for free (if still under
warrantee - doubtful for the camera as they've been discontinued a few years
and virtually impossible for the lens since the AElenses haven't been made
regularly for a long time). If your lens is at fault is it too late to get your
money back for it (since it doesn't work) (from the person or store you got it
from) and apply the money to either a working used AE lens or a used or new MM
lens in that focal length?
