Disagree ... it's useful because you find the minimum price you could sell it
for (what KEH will pay you) and you also get an idea of what's it's reasonably
worth (what KEH will sell it for ... which you can also look up).

Exactly ... so you know it's worth a minimum of $200 if you go the no-hassle
route and sell it to them (minimum value), and you know that you would likely
not be able to sell it for more than $300 if the buyer were smart enough to
check a site like KEH for used gear since he'd be better off buying the same
item from them because of their warranty. In this case you should be able to
get $280 or so, and anything over $300 would be a real sweet deal for you (and
a dumb move for the person buying it from you ... but often you get lucky,
especially with auctions).
Another good source of info is probably the eBay listings for completed
