Is the PMA over?
If so does that mean Nikon is not replacing the D80?
I think their announcements are over.
Everybody was expecting a replacement.
I guess it's not to be. No?

not this week.

the announcements occured a few days ago.

no, not everybody. it is far too soon after the d300's launch to be
launching a d300-lite. the d80 was introduced about ten months after
the d200, which puts its successor sometime in the spring/summer time
frame, assuming it's on the same schedule.

there will be a d80 replacement at some point, just not this week.

I just checked DPreview, and the announcement dates of all Nikon dSLR
cameras, few have actually been announced at either PMA or PhotoKina.
