The only thing that will help is a sense of humour. Unfortunately, if
the feature is not present, it is not easy to add it as an accessory.

Perhaps one day it will be made cheaply in China and easily installed.

You forgot...

0x0b. Use a compact digital camera with CHDK. This is able to solve
any problem. In this case, you throw it at the second pair of ears
until they go away.

No, because you would have had at least
twelve replies from John Navas by now.

Anything that the AKC got a hold of got stupid. Today's breeders are
breeding for looks. AKC recognized Boarder Collies and with in two
generations they were producing pretty, stupid dogs. Look at the
Bench Labs, send one of those out to retrieve a duck and you are just
asking for a heart attack or a stroke for the poor things. Look at the
German Shepards. Herd sheep? Can't even walk half the time.

Come by some time, I'll let you meet "Buddy" he's a stupid lab. He's
sweet, but stupid as a post.

Haven't met any actually stupid Labs.

I've met some that could out-stubborn a mule, but they weren't stupid;
at least not like Irish Setters ... every one of those I've ever known
was dumber than a box of rocks.

Them and Dobermans.

I think it's a problem with the breed standard. They breed for that
narrow, pointy little head and with the thick skull, there just ain't
that much room for brains inside.

Be careful though, you're liable to get one that's British style; dryer
than the Sahara.

Nah, I'm not too bad; maybe a little slow on the uptake sometimes.

If it were a joke, he'd say "the dog's ears". He said "the dogs' ears",
which immediately means he's serious.

No it was a joke, I just didn't want the "grammar patrol" to charge me
with improper apostrophe positioning and mispossessionning of the
second degree. Now the word police will be all over me... Smile

If his sire was brought from England I doubt that the AKC had much to
do with it's lineage. Lovely picture though.
