I used to have this great Night Photography Calculator, with a slider
that matched up various lighting situations with the appropriate
f-stop and shutter speed. But I've lost it.

Are there any similar resources online anywhere? I see some for sale
for $20+, and was hoping there might be something on the web.

Thanks,
James

*Idea* You could probably adapt my astrophotography exposure calculator:

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/astro/astrosoft.html" target="_blank">http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/astro/astrosoft.html</a>

It's free, and it does reciprocity calculations very deftly for many kinds
of film. You'd have to work out the brightness values of your night scenes
yourself... Send me some of them and maybe I'll work them into the next
release of the software. (Egad, has it been 4 years since I revised it?!)

James,

I just added a free exposure calculator to my site. This was programed by
Frank Kujawski and is an interactive decoder. Please check it out at :

Also of possible interest is a new forum at Yahoo called LIGHTCODE that is
here: <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lightcode/" target="_blank">http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lightcode/</a>
