Does it have to be Nikon?
The Pentax LX has a fine reputation as a manual camera.
Fully manual (although it will do aperture priority auto).
Capable of operating without batteries (although obviously
the metering doesn't work).
Weather sealed.
Optional winder.
DOF preview.
Mirror Lockup.
Multiple Exposures.
Off-The-Film metering (good for long exposure work).
