Off topic.

Ok, folks, it's the new game show - "Spot the Irony!"...

Anyone picked it yet?

While waiting, Douglas/Cryptopix/Sarina/Julian/Susana, any sign of
that completed panorama yet?

No? Thought not.
Any sign of an apology for the LIES you told about Atheist Chaplain?
No? Thought not.

Any reason why you still refuse to identify me from that 'security
tape' you LIED about? You, Douglas, said this about me:

Oh, really? (O:
Here's where Douglas made these claims, (and sadly for him) they
weren't from behind an anonymiser:
http://groups.google.com.au/group/rec.photo.equipment.35mm/browse_frm/...ead/309
....and of course the whole thing is a stinking LIE. Hand that link to
your legal team, Douglas, ok? Show them the imaginary 'tape', and
also tell them how you 'identified' me - did I have a name badge,
perhaps I yelled my name out as I took whatever it was you claim I
took?

Oh, and your solicitor will be *particularly* impressed with the
threats of violence you made in that same post.

All Douglas had to do to prove he was not a liar was DESCRIBE me.
There is something very noticable about me. So why couldn't/can't he
do that? Why does he always run away from this question?

Simply because the whole thing is a LIE. He has no such 'security
tape' and he made this claim up, just like he lies elsewhere.

Enjoy, Douglas.

Well, I can't say I've done it myself, but I've eaten at a restaurant that
had a number of macro insect shots in the waiting area.

I could never fiqure it out. It didn't bother me, but it kind of seemed
like the place was skirting the outer fringes of good taste exposing hungry
folks to some rather unappitizing images while they wait for tables.

Take Care,
Dudley

Damn, beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing as I was reading

Curiously, I was mentioning this post to my wife, and she tells me that the
restaurant in question is now closed. I wonder why?

Take Care,
Dudley

There are a lot of people who photograph insects (or birds or flowers,
etc.) who either mis-name the subject or give a vague caption.

Those of us who know about the subject matter can not only name them
accurately but show them in a relevant way, such as habitat, angle of
view, capturing certain behaviour and so on.

The same goes for other subjects, such as architecture and travel.

I have yet to post an image for any group comment.
