I have an RB67 that I use only when family or friends need big enlargements
of their group photos. I only have the original matte focusing screen that
came with the camera. I'm don't always get the focusing screen bang on
because the prism finder seems to dim the light down quite a bit. I'm
wondering which focusing screen y'all like to use in situations like this.
I use the camera both indoors and out. I use a tripod as well. I'm
thinking the RangefinderSpot/Mircroprism.
Thanks for your knowledgeable and experienced replies.
Ivan

I was this way. The it was time to do the Waist Level Finder thing.

I could never do the prism thing well. I have the split focusing screen with
the mat in my WLF.

hmmm, I guess I'll have to learn to get used to the backwardness of the
W/L/F then. thanks for the reply<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Yep, doesn't take long either, I'm a big fan of the WLF. BTW if you want a
brighter screen, talk to Bill Maxwell about one of his screens.

I have the same problem. I bought a prism for my RB via Ebay, put it on
the camera, took a look through it and put the WLF back on. No way
to use this thing in dim light.

Personally, I prefer the screen with a bright spot in the middle
(can't remember the number just now), a screen with split focus
is unusuable for portraiture with critical focusing. Faces usually
have no sharp lines for using the split focuser, and the picture in
the center circle is alway sharp regardless of actual focus.
