Dear friends
Imay have a question that sounds stupid for persons used to digicams but I
have gotten a
Cannon D10 fine Camera though
Adobe Photoshop 5

Question is ho do I make double exposures. I have read the manual and reread
it. Nothing to find.

If anyone could be helpful I would be ever so greatful.

Thanks
Christof

Kibo informs me that "sfts" stated that:

If I'm understanding your question, you want to know how to turn two
photos into a double exposure in Photoshop?

If so, one method would be to open both photos, create a layer on the
first photo, cut & paste the second photo into the new layer, close the
second photo, then adjust the opacity setting of the layer to 50%.
If you want an exact emulation of a photographic double exposure, you'd
then change the layer blend mode from 'normal' to (I think) 'darken', or
possibly 'subtract', but you might find that while the 'normal' blend
mode isn't an exact emulation, it'll give you a more pleasing result
than the real thing.

2 photos. Get them into Photoshop (or PS Elements). Open both,
in one image - select all - switch to other image. New layer.
Paste. Adjust opacity. You can also change blending mode instead.

Have someone told you that you can? I don't know the D10, but
I don't see the point doing this in the camera. Take two pictures
and place them together with (transparent) layers with photo edit
software, eg. Photoshop. Better control, better result.
