for a 1200mm lens, f/5.6 is not 'slow'.

Wow. An effective aperture of over 21cm diameter. That is a front lens as
large as a dinner plate!

How much would you charge for a 1250mm f5.6 Telephoto lens?

If I bought it, do you think they'd throw in a 2x telecoverter?

Well, with some mirror lenses (14" across) you can get 2400mm at f6.3,
or 1950mm at f5 with a flat field. 1200mm refractive element at f5.6
is pretty fast. I once got a quote done for an 800mm f4 lens of
$75,000. No AF.

I email esteemed seller as thus,

Sir,

Kind blessings and salutations. I am most keen on lens, would you ship to
Nigeria? It is required for sunday school roof in Wobbattu district so you
can rejoice that item will bring much richness of blessing to all here.

I have large bankers draft for you to take what sum you need for lens and
shipping. I trust you that you will be fair and send me balance after lens
has been paid for.

Christian greetings and much blessings upon you.

Prince Luzabo Kewaasi

I wait for answer some time now.

Instead of a 2x converter I might settle for free hernia insurance
thrown in!

I wonder what the effective focal length would be on a video camera?

I'd rather have a .5X focal reducer
