Geez Paul, don't you guys feed your coyotes? Just kidding... Nice
photos.
I've been thinking about getting the D3 but my wishlist keeps growing,
so I've got to set a few priorities. The company that I work for,
keeps giving us a share of the profit every six months. 15 million
last time and I've heard 20 million this time around, divided up by a
few thousand employees. Not a bad deal when you think about it...

I remember those days, they were really nice...
The D3 seems like a really great camera. I'd like to see more photos
taken with it.

Apart from professional uses I fail to understand why anyone in their right
mind would lug a camera the size of a D3, or its Canon SUV sized
equivalents, for what end up essentially as amateur snapshots. >> Stay informed about: The D3 Loves Big Glass |

Ever notice the theory of quality? You'll get superb quality with a
D3 and that 600mm f4, but you can get the same image (size wise) with
an Olympus E-3 and 300mm f2.8, a combo that weighs about 1/3-1/4 what
the Nikon does. So, in this case, for some reason only the God's can
understand, it just happens that quality weighs a ton. Is this the
idea that in order to obtain perfection, you have to work that much
harder? >> Stay informed about: The D3 Loves Big Glass |

An equivalent lens would be a 300mm f/2 - with the same 150mm aperture.
They don't have one...
