Greetings all,

I'm about to purchase a D200 here in Japan where I live, and am searcing for
an English user's manual online. No luck yet at Nikon USA or Europe. Does
anyone know where one might be hiding?

TIA,

Toby

Thank you Rita. I'll keep trying.

What happens for me is that after the file is finished downloading an
Acrobat Reader window pops up saying that the file is damaged and cannot be
repaired. Since it doesn't open there is no way to save it.

Frustrating :-/ I can live with the Japanese manual but it isn't going to be
easy...

Bless you Rita, that worked like a charm :-})

I've got Acro Reader 7.0, so I don't know why it wouldn't open directly in
Firefox, but "save target as" worked perfectly.

There is often a lot of noise on usenet, but plenty of signal too Wink

I apologize to Ed Ruf, although I still think he could brush up on his
manners.

Thanks again,

Toby

What is the big problem in asking for some help? I've d/l'ded numerous
..pdf's in exactly the same manner (left-click and wait for the d/l to
complete, then save). This is the first time I've gotten an error message
saying that the file was damaged and couldn't be repaired--it sure looked
like a corrupt file. So I asked, Rita responded nicely and that's the end of
the problem. Not too complicated.
