I'm in the market for a good versatile 200-300 mm lens for a Canon XTi. Any
recommendations on the canon lens vs the Sigma's. I would like to keep it
under $500.00.

lens choice advice please - i have decided to trade in my 28-80 usm mkIII kit lens and my simga 70-210 i have been offered £75 in trade in (i hope that is each). I will keep my 70-300 for now. I'm looking for quality over zoom range so 28-70 would be acceptible over the canon..

Nikon N80 - need single travel lens recommendation - I recently purchased an N80 body. In 5 months, I will be going on a 3 week trek in Nepal and Tibet.
