I have an OLD (1991) Canon EOS Rebel S II (35mm film, not digital) and
would like to purchase a 75-300 mm lens for it. Been all over the web
looking for one and have seen a few that are USM - are they
compatible? If not, anyone know where I can buy a long lens for this
camera?

Thanks,
Carol

I'm not sure if this camera is from before or after Canon changed their
lens mount, but you might try http://www.KEH.com

Going there, I found a Rebel S II for sale, and clicking on specs it
says it's the EOS mount ... from the Rebel S II, clicking on
"accessories" & then "lenses" takes you to about 30 pages of compatible
lenses including a 75-300, both with & without ultrasonic motor and/or
image stabilization.

So, I guess the answers are "Yes" and "KEH".
