While in San Antonio last week I decided to have my APS processed at
Ritz instead of waiting to get back home and risk running it through
the Airport scanners again. When I got it back the little X was still
highlighted on two of the three cans. I called and it was processed so
I tossed it in the scanner when I got back home and both made some
funky noises and the film did not advance.

Well I took them to WalMart and there was something wrong with the
cannisters so they switched them for me. OK no problem but is this a
rare occurance or common.....or did Ritz just screw up and break my
cans?

After processing you can switch the indicators to whereever you want. You
just get a pencil and twiddle them around.
