Is the Bayonet filter mount for a Hasselblad the same as for other MF lenses?

Thanks,
Alan

No.
There even are three different bayonet filter mounts for Hasselblad lenses
alone.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I guess that is normal for different barrel sizes ... but I was hoping, for
instance, that an 80mm f/2.8 bay would be common over various manufacturers.

Thanks,
Alan

The Hasselblad "names" for their bayonet sizes are 50, 60 and 70.
Zeiss has a different designation: "bay 57" for HB's "bay 50", and "bay 77"
for HB's "bay 70".
Still, i have never seen other manufacturers use any of these bayonets on
their lenses, no.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Alan,

The only other manufacturer that I've seen bayonet filters for is the
Rollei Bayonet VI (B VI). It is different from the Hasselblad bayonets and
they are not interchangeable (directly).

Hope this has answered your question.

I think there is one bay mount that both Rollei and Hasselblad share. No? Aw
heck, check the B+W web site. It's got all the answers.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I have the B+W catalog, and used it for a reference. If they are
interchangeable, they don't tell you about it (those money grabbing
manufacturers:~). For the same filter, they list both types with different
numbers.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Bay 8 and Bay 104 are the same bayonet. Heliopan makes both as well as
Bay I, II, III, VI, Bay 50 Bay 56, Bay 60 and Bay 70. They also make Bay
50Z.

Anyone know about the bayonets on the Schneider lenses for Exacta 66, which
are the same as some of the lenses they made for the Rolleiflex 600x
cameras? Do the E66 ones still take the Rollei bayonet hoods, or is it yet
another system? And are there third party hoods that ft?

I'm particularly interested in the one that would fit a lens taking a 67mm
screw in filter and a push on lens cap labelled ø70; and the one fitting a
lens taking an 89mm screw in filter and a push on lens cap labelled ø90...

Thanks!

Thanks for all of the replies. Looks like I'm stuck buying a Bay and astep up
to use my filters.

Cheers,
Alan.

Bob, if you would have taken the trouble to find out what this thread is
about you would have known we're not interested in some Heliopan
advertising.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
