Archived from groups: rec>photo>darkroom (more info?)

I have just received a bulk length of this film.
It is coated onto a thin base and the can holds 48 metres on a spool.
I have no real acquaintance with Agfa films and I know nothing about this.
The film was said to have a extended red response, which might make it
necessary to use a blue filter.
However I wouldlike to know if it would have greater grain than Ilford HP5
if one developed both films in the same brew for their appropriate times.
I have been using Calbe R09, the original Rodinal formula and I am hoping
to bring out the grain, rather than suppress it.
There's some landscape work I could use it for when using a slow film just
wouldn't capture the atmosphere.
