Cheap plastic. Thats a good idea I wonder if I can get one cheaper than
the inline viewer $200

Absolutely. I bought a piece of 5x7 (or a little bigger) from American
Science and Surplus for a few dollars. Check some of the surplus places.
If that fails, let me know what size piece you need and I'll see if I
have enough.

Veering a little off-subject here but since you brought up the Maxwell
screen I wanted to add an endorsement of it. I received mine today and
installed it on my Master Technika. It's great! The entire image can be seen
even with my 80mm lens, only a very very slight darkening around the edges
with that lens, nothing like the "bright spot in big dark hole" that I saw
when I used that lens with the Linhof ground glass. With all other lenses
(135 F5.6, 150 F9, 210 F5.6, and 300 F9) the image is very bright all the
way around. Better yet, everything "pops" into focus just like a ground
glass, a first for me iwith Fresnel lenses. All other Fresnels I've used
(Ebony, Tachihara, Beattie) have presented focusing problems. I've always
thought the BosScreen was the best after-market screen but the Maxwell is
better IMHO . Pretty expensive ($240 for mine) but worth every penny I
think.

Out of curiosity, did you utilize the page I put together on Mr. Maxwell's
goods, and which I've posted here on two recent occasions, before you made
your purchase?

But then most likely it'll be on a Copal 3.
I picked up a used 240/5.6 Symmar on eBay
about half a year ago. It is a huge mother
of a lens and based on that alone, I would
like to exchange it for an f9.. just for
the size and weight reduction. If I were
doing studio work exclusively, it would be
another story.
I've gotten used to dealing with 90/f8,
so I imagine f9 won't be too much more
difficult. That Fujinon is the lens
I want...

No, not the entire set. The max aperture of individual cells is f/13; all
the combinations of two cells have greater apertures than that, one
combination has a maximum aperture of f/9.
But since single cells are pretty long focal length, focusing in the
daytime outdoors has never been a problem for me.
